Introduction

Learn how to produce a CV and covering letter that will attract attention, create a good first impression and present your skills and qualities clearly and concisely during this one day workshop.

At the end of this workshop students will:

  • Understand the aims of the CV

  • Understand the different CV formats

  • Understand how to write a personal profile

  • Learn how to include power words in your CV

  • Understand the importance of the covering letter

  • Produce a CV and cover letter to impress a prospective employer

Materials

Please bring a copy of your existing CV if you have one and a USB stick.

Entry Requirements

This workshop is open to anyone looking to change career or find out more about their employability options. Basic English and IT skills will be required.
