Butchery Techniques and Kitchen Skills

A practical course where you will learn about butchery techniques and kitchen skills. You will learn how to cut meats and prepare vegetables. You will also complete the NCFE Understanding Nutrition and Health Workbook.

    A keen interest in cooking, butchery and kitchen skills. You will need a good level of written and spoken English.

  • Course Content


    This FREE course will be able to gain an understanding of butchery techniques as well as kitchen skills. You will learner about cooking meats, sauces and preparing vegetables. You will also have to complete an understanding nutrition and health NCFE workbook which is a recognised qualification. The course is two days per week on a Monday and Wednesday for 5 weeks 10am-2pm. The start date is 20/5/24-24/06/24.
