On 2nd May, both our Level 2 and 3 Electrical Installation students celebrated the end of their work placements with United Living in a special awards ceremony at Taste Restaurant.

On the afternoon of 3rd May 2019, our Level 1 Professional Cookery and Level 2 Food & Beverage students from our Hospitality & Catering Academy worked at the Wandsworth Young Chef Celebration Lunch for the Mayor of Wandsworth at the Taste Restaurant.

In the fifth of our course spotlight stories, we spoke with Ruth - Engineering BTEC - Level 2.  She shares her experiences on the course and career plans to beyond studying her course.

As part of College Employability Month, our Level 3 Forensic Science students took part in a forensic science investigation as part of their units 32 (Forensic Evidence Collection & Analysis) and the findings to write an offender profile for unit 35 (Applications of Forensic Psychology). The workshop was facilitated by Thinkers in Education, are a specialist STEM organisation.

On 3rd April, working in partnership with Rape Crisis South London, our second year Level 3 Health & Social Care students successfully completed their Sexual Harassment, Bystander Intervention and Social Action training course.

On 28th March, our Music Instrument Making and Repair students had a talk from Ben Filmer–Sankey, Roll Library and Archive Manager of the prestigious Musical Museum in Brentford, London. The talk focused on the restoration of rare musical instruments, notably rare pianos.
