We are holding our next Open Event on Saturday 29 February 2020, from 10:00am to 1:00pm. This will give you the opportunity to find out about your study options, meet our tutors, take a tour of our excellent facilities and complete an application form. 

Emma Hardy, has been studying at Merton College on the Violin Making and Repair course which has given her the opportunity to attend Makers’ Day where the College has a stand each year. Makers’ Day is organised by the British Violin Making Association (BVMA) which exists to promote and support violin makers working in Britain.

Merton College welcomes school pupils aged 16-18, in Year 11 or above, to join us at our Meet the Tutor event on Wednesday 12th February. It starts from 4.30pm and includes a taster session in your chosen subject area, the chance to meet your tutor and current students, as well as a tour of the facilities.

Emma Coleman, a student studying Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Travel and Tourism, has been recruited as the new Student Governor for Merton College. She will take on the role of Student Governor for 12 months, representing the student voice at the College Board of Governors meetings.

From September 2020, degree-level students studying nursing, midwifery and some of the allied health subjects will receive a non-repayable and non-means tested grant of £5,000 a year to help with living costs.

Merton Adult Learning is delighted to announce it has just been rated “Good” and been awarded a Grade 2 by Ofsted inspectors in its most recent inspection. The provision provides adult learning opportunities for Merton residents and is delivered in partnership between Merton Borough Council, Merton College, and other providers.
