Chef competition crop

In January 2020 we held our Young Chef College Competition, which was sponsored by the Morden Rotary Club. The event was entered by some of our Level 1 Professional Cookery City & Guilds Introductory Diploma students.

They put their culinary skills to the test by designing a two-course menu and cost out prior to a cook-off. The winner of the competition was Misha Joseph, who cooked up a storm with her sweet potato and rosemary soup followed by salmon kedgeree with poached egg. The runner up prize was awarded to Jasiem Joseph for his salmon and cucumber canapé and spice rubbed chicken.
