The Mayor of London, working with MOBIE, Minecraft Education, C40, Mayor's Fund for London and Croydon Council set a design challenge, the aim of which was to inspire young Londoners to develop an interest in designing beautiful, affordable and sustainable places to live, work and visit. A 3D Design student at Kingston College, Titi, who is studying on our popular A Level+ Architecture pathway has been shortlisted as a final contender to win the design challenge set by the Mayor of London. The selection panel were really impressed by the quality of entries to Design Future London this year: “The ideas for the future of our city were inspiring and it was clear how hard you have all worked on putting them together”.

Titi’s design ideas and models, titled ‘Container Combo’ focused on using modular containers to sustainably re-imagine Croydon’s shopping centre. The designs can be viewed on-line and you can vote for your favourite ideas.
