*Essential Digital Skills – Digital Transactions (Banking, Online Shopping, Online Forms)

You may also choose to only study on one of the above courses to learn about things that you feel least confident about. For example, you might feel that you know all about digital devices, the Internet and digital transactions, but you would like to learn more about emails. You will then enrol on our Essential Digital Skills – Emails and Other Digital Communications Course, for example.

    Essential Digital Skills – Using the Internet and Staying Safe Online Course will support you build confidence in using the Internet. On this course you will learn how to connect your device to the Internet and navigate online using hyperlinks, menus and other navigation elements. You will also learn how to keep yourself and your personal information safe and protected by learning about ani-virus, firewalls, phishing emails or links, etc.

    The natural progression from this course will be onto our Essential Digital Skills – Emails and Other Digital Communications However, you may choose to do any of the other courses within this programme, depending on your personal needs.

    What is needed for the course:

    You can bring your own laptop, tablet or a Smart phone if you wish. We will provide you with a desktop or a laptop in our classroom. Please bring a notebook and a pen as there will be lots of note taking
