We turn the spotlight to our students, who discuss their experience studying at Merton College. Up first is Jerome Augus, a current NVQ Diploma in Hospitality Supervision & Leadership Level 3 student from our Hospitality and Catering Academy shares his insight on his course and why he choose to study with the College.
"I choose to study at Merton College, because of the really good facilities for my course. My first impressions of the college were it look friendly, and still is as the teachers on my course are very supportive.
From my course, I enjoy delivering and interacting with customers that come to Taste Restaurant. Furthermore, I like working as a team with new people on events and when we have members of the local community come in for lunch.
My ultimate goal is one day owning my chain of restaurants. However, after my course, I intend to study a Higher Level Apprenticeship in Hospitality and work for a major restaurant chain.
My advice for any students looking to enrol on this course is to work hard, as success isn’t given it earned."
