Merton College will be being participating in Say #HelloYellow and support children and young people’s mental health on World Mental Health Day on Wednesday 9 October.
More children and young people than ever before are seeking help with their mental health, but fewer than one in ten find it easy to get the support they need.
We are asking everyone to get involved and wear something yellow to show people that they are not alone when it comes to their mental health. We will be asking for staff and students of the college to make a donation on day to support the work of Young Minds.
We also encourage everyone to write mental health messages, drawings and inspirational quotes on the #HelloYellow board located outside A001 (Student Services room), to show we are all in this together
Bespoke workshops by the Student Services will be taking place to raise the awareness of Mental Health, Positive wellbeing & raising Self-Esteem.
