I first came to the College in September 2017 and took a Level 1 Preparing to Work in Schools course. The College is really welcoming. The staff are all friendly, approachable and knowledgeable.

I am currently on a Supported Teaching and Learning Level 2 course. My tutor Debra Valentine is very supportive and every lesson is clearly thought out and delivered well.

I have also taken Distance Learning courses in 7 subject areas including Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties, Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Understanding Nutrition and Healthy.

I would recommend these excellent courses to all students who want to learn more about their subject area. It is such a good scheme that fits around everyone’s timetable.

FREE short courses leading to nationally recognised qualifications.

We have a range of short distance learning courses from the awarding body NCFE, which can be completed in as little as 4 – 8 weeks. These are fully funded, meaning there is no cost to the learner. On completion you will gain a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification in 4 – 8 weeks. An opportunity to study in your own time.

Courses on offer include:
