Introduction

Planning a holiday to an Italian-speaking country? This course will teach you the common expressions and basic Italian you need to communicate clearly and confidently while away. The course is taught in Italian to help you develop your speaking and listening skills.

You'll work in groups, pairs and by yourself to complete tasks. Your teacher will use audio-visual methods to help improve your listening and comprehension skills.

Materials

There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).

Depending on your course and circumstances, you may be able to get funding to help with materials fees. Please check with us when you come in for interview or enrolment.

Assessment

Your tutor will give you feedback. You'll also be given homework and carry out self-assessment.
