Introduction

This course builds on the intermediate Excel course and is a great way to improve your skills if your looking to get ahead at work. This course provides a supportive environment for people who are comfortable with the fundamentals of Excel and using formulae and functions and wish to use more advanced Excel tools.

By the end of the course you'll be able to:

  • Create pivot tables to summarise and report

  • Use V Look Up and H Look Up tables

  • Create If Statements and conditional formatting

  • Use absolute and relative referencing* Use Excel to solve practical domestic and workplace problems

Materials

Your tutor will provide a booklet with explanations and exercises. You should bring a pen, pencil and rubber.

Entry Requirements

Completion of the South Thames intermediate Excel course. Or, you will need to be familiar with Excel fundamentals, formulae and functions.
