Introduction

This taster is for all abilities and will give you the chance to explore some techniques of yoga. Yoga is about bringing harmony into your own life through a balance of physical exercises combined with concentration and breathing control.

This course is suitable for all ages and you'll work within your own limits to increase strength, suppleness and stamina. You'll need to bring a large towel or blanket and wear comfortable clothes suitable for working on the floor. All yoga courses teach basic postures so that the whole body is safely exercised.

Materials

There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).

Depending on your course and circumstances, you may be able to get funding to help with materials fees. Please check with us when you come in for interview or enrolment.
