The course is designed to develop the skills required for working in a variety of organisations across the public and private sector. You will also gain practical knowledge of business cycles and systems.

The course will cover the following:

  • Identifying the key features of different types of organisations and their structure

  • Developing team working skills and time management skills

  • Developing professional behaviour including using policies and procedures

  • Communicating effectively in the business environment including data confidentiality


You'll need to join the AAT to take the AAT exams. AAT membership has plenty of benefits including access to essential accounting resources on career development, technical training, network meetings and a quarterly journal. You will take one computer-based online assessment at the end of the course.
