Pottery Case Study Kate Evans

The pottery class is structured with a theme for each term allowing you to explore different avenues. You can work at your own pace. The class is open and supportive, providing encouragement as well as sharing know-how and ideas. I have been able to set goals for myself and plan projects to pursue. The class often discusses, reviews and critiques ceramic makers, works and exhibitions which is invaluable.

From a wellbeing perspective, pottery has provided me with a creative challenge, an opportunity to mix with like-minded people and to regain and gain confidence. The time in class passes quickly and it is refreshing to be absorbed and focussed. For me the class is energising and provides much needed positivity. In short – pottery has helped improve my wellbeing.
