The course covers a range of travel and tourism units to prepare you to progress onto the level 3 in Travel and Tourism or progress to work within the travel and tourism industry. You will study a range of units including; Customer Service, UK Travel and Tourism Destinations, Visitor Attractions, Resort Representatives, Promotional Activities within Travel and Tourism, Travel Planning and Delivering an Entertainment Activity.
You will be assessed by two external exams, internal portfolio assignments, role-play, presentations and group work.
You will gain essential skills for your future development of working within the travel and tourism industry. The course also contains Maths, English, Tutorial and you will need to complete 315 hours of industry related work experience. Once you have successfully completed this course, you can progress on to a level 3 qualification, for example travel and tourism or business.
Four grade 3 GCSE’S to include English, or equivalent qualification.
