You'll be introduced you to the subjects you'll take on health, science or nursing Access courses and help you complete a progression diploma to show your developing knowledge and understanding. You'll also work on your English and maths as part of this course to help raise you to the standard you'll need to get on to an Access course and into university.
There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).
Depending on your course and circumstances, you may be able to get funding to help with materials fees. Please check with us when you come in for interview or enrolment.
Continual assessment and exams.
You should be 19 or over at the start of this course.
There are no formal entry requirements but you'll need to show a commitment to study and demonstrate maths and English at an appropriate level, which may be by an assessment with us.
Progress on to the Access course or other Level 3 programme eg nursing, social work or health science.
