Introduction

This course is for those adults  who want to learn how to deal with accidents, injuries and medical conditions involving an adult. It’s a practical course where you’ll simulate treating people in life-threatening situations

The course covers emergency life support techniques, which deal with an adult casualty only.

  • The primary survey
  • Unresponsive adults
  • Choking adults
  • Severe bleeding
  • Shock
  • Adult resuscitation (CPR)
  • Head injuries
  • Seizures
  • Chest pains

Entry Requirements

A basic level of literacy and numeracy is advised. You must be able to kneel on the ground in order to perform the CPR technique required on the course.

Please bring pens and paper. Wear comfortable clothing during the course.
