Learn to craft beautifully decorated cakes to a professional standard. This course covers a range of techniques you can use to create intricate embellishments and unique designs and gives you space to practise your skills and share ideas.
The course content may vary according to the preferences of the class, but could include:
Modelling using sugar paste
Assembling and arranging cakes and decorations.
- Making simple flowers with sugar paste
Please bring below your first week
2 x 6” round cakes (about 2” high each)
1 kg pack of white fondant (sugar paste)
400 gms tub buttercream icing
8” cake board and box
1-2 food colours of choice (gel or paste not liquid colours)
This course is open to beginners, but will also help you if you have experience decorating cakes and want to try new techniques and develop your skills.
