Learn all aspects of ceramics making from core hand-building skills, glazing and decoration to the more complex art of throwing on the wheel.
Each term students will study and research a key ceramicist, or style in the history of ceramics.
There will be materials you need to help with your studies. Clay is charged at £2 per kilo. More for specialist clays. Your tutor will talk to you about this at your first class.
The tutor will advise you on the aesthetics of a form and ensure your work is successful in the making. There is no certification.
