By the end of the course, you'll be able to:
- Use pen and ink for drawing
- Use tonal washes with brush and ink
- Combine line and wash techniques
- Combine pen & ink with wax resist and watercolour washes and or coloured inks
Black Indian Ink, dip pen (drawing nib), drawing cartridge paper, watercolour paper, watercolour paints, brushes for ink (Chinese calligraphy brush is good) and for painting, palette if in doubt wait until your first class where your tutor can explain and show examples.
This course will provide you with a foundation of skills needed to progress to the Drawing & Painting courses at South Thames College.
