Health & Social Care - BTEC Extended Diploma
Izabela is originally from Romania and when she moved to London she was unable to speak English. Since then, she has passed all of her GCSEs and completed her Diploma at Merton.
Izabela said: "I applied to study a Health and Social Care Diploma because I am very passionate about helping people and I want to make a difference in that sector. The staff at Merton College have been very welcoming and supportive from the beginning. I have career ambitions to become a researcher in neuroscience and psychology."
After achieving D*D*D* in her Diploma, Izabela has now started an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience at Holloway University.
