Bow Making & Rehair Short Courses

Next bow making course

We have run several 5 day courses, usually at half terms or in college holidays. The tutor is a professional bowmaker and violist with an entertaining and informative style. Students make the stick, to fit a nickel-silver mounted nut which is supplied. Before the course starts we will send plans of some simple jigs to make to speed the process. At the end of the week most people go away with a fully haired bow, despite in many cases having little or no previous woodworking experience. These courses are run to demand - please apply online or by post to register your interest and we will contact you once a new date has been arranged. Please speak to Keith Graves on 020 8714 6672 or email kgraves@merton.ac.uk for more information.
